Driving is tiresome and one needs to be healthy both physically and mentally while on the roads. The first thing to note is to be physically fit while driving.
May be after a long drive, your muscles gets stiffen and reflexes slow down. Walking, jogging and playing tennis are good for improving your physical strength.
Another healthy tip while driving is to avoid medicines, which causes drowsiness. Make sure you check your vision, particularly night vision and hearing regularly.
While getting old, always try to understand your limitations. May be you feel numb or your hands may hurt when steering the wheel. Better choose the one that gives you comfort.

Always take your car on the roads if you are only in good condition to drive. If you are tired, avoid driving. Even if you are agitated, it is better not to drive. Another factor to be taken into account is not to mix driving with alcohol.
