Nails are the most important part of our body even if we do not consider it to be. We feel like taking care of everything except our nails which too goes through a very hard time. It is via our nails that we do a lot of major works.

For me nails are outgrowth of the skin tissue which protects the nerve endings below the nail. Nails are dead and consist of keratin which elongates when put into water and become brittle when exposed to harsh stuff.
You can have a number of nail related problems like white spots and ridges on nails, little white flecks, yellowing, excessive breaking, accidents, and hangnails.
So now what you can do is always try to keep your nail hydrated rub castor oil or petroleum jelly. Wear gloves when ever doing some work with your hand. Maintain your nails just like you maintain other things, trim them, and keep it short and square avoid the use of acetone as it dries the nails more, intake more amount of calcium in your diet like milk and boiled egg. Try consuming less of sugar and alcohol which are bad for nails. Eat apples, grapes, cucumber, whole grains, tuna, and nuts to keep your nails healthy and strong.
Next time before you take care of any other things make sure your nails are looking neat and beautiful, even if they are dead cells they add life to your fingers remember it.
