This is the third trimester in full swing and insomnia is bothering you much more than ever. You can’t sleep comfortably; you can’t stop the bladder demands and heartburn. all the kicking within is beginning to get on your nerves. As you near the labor stage, you tend to worry about having a normal delivery and seeing a healthy baby. All the anxiety robs you of your sleep.
Majority of expecting moms experience this annoying sleeplessness syndrome at this stage of the trimester. After all, it is tough for anyone to sleep with a watermelon on the tummy! Get more of those massages and warm baths. Also, eat well and make sure you drink some warm milk to help you snooze for a while. Lie on your side as much as you can. Forget about brisk walk and exercise but move around so that your feet don’t swell too much.
This is also the time to plan for things like diapers, soft cloth and breast pumps if needed. Infant seats in the car and some soft blankets are all needed. Make sure you can contact your doctor anytime. Ensure that you are not alone at home during this crucial stage.
Your baby sleeps well and the senses are heightened. Weight gain is more rapid now. Fat deposits on the baby for warmth. Your baby might measure around 12 inches.
