Pregnancy in 8th Week

The baby develops faster and the heart starts beating. You cannot hear the heartbeat but an ultrasound scan may reveal it. Taking ultrasound scan is not proved to be risky but there is no proof that it is safe either. The webbed finders will be formed in the hands and toes and the arms will have elbows and wrists. You can see bulgier eyes with pigment and retina development. The size of the head of the baby will be large and this is absolutely normal.

8th week

In the 8th week of pregnancy the digestive system improves further forming intestines which extend upto the umbilical chords due to the shortage in the abdominal area. The genitals of the baby will also start budding but they may not reveal the sex of the baby with a scan.

You will see many differences in your body after missing the period for 8 weeks. Extreme fatigue and nausea are common and you will feel very tired. You should continue eating healthy foods at repeated times. Never keep your stomach completely empty. Your baby is developing faster and you have to ensure that you provide all necessary nourishments for the baby. If you have already experienced pregnancy complications, then you have to look for prenatal care during this stage.
